Yellowwood coaster

The problem with going bargain bin diving at your favourite wood merchant is that you find things you weren’t looking for and then those things somehow find their way to your shop ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It was on one such excursion that this beatiful piece of yellowwood, with the most exquisite figuring, found it’s way home. It wasn’t the thickest of pieces (about 10mm or so) so it made sense to make something small and thin that would show off the unique character of this board; ideal for coasters I’d say … let me know what you think in the comments below.
